Strategy Overview

The Strategy Overview is the visual companion to the Run Plan. It paints a horizontal stint timeline showing every planned and recorded stint, the driver, tyre set, fuel state, and pit stops between them.

Find it at Event → Strategy. Route: /events/:eventId/strategy.

Stint timeline​

The timeline is a horizontal canvas:

  • X axis: clock time (or session elapsed)
  • Each row: a stint
  • Colour: driver / class / planned vs actual

You can:

  • Hover a stint to see its summary
  • Click a stint to jump to its run sheet
  • Pin a "now" cursor that auto-advances during the session

What you can do today​

  • See planned stints (from the Run Plan) and actuals (from the Run Sheet) on the same timeline
  • See pit-stop markers between stints
  • See the seeded Sebring stint plan

What's coming​

  • What-if simulator — drag a stint endpoint and see fuel / tyre projections update via Monte-Carlo simulation (Phase 3)
  • Multi-car comparison — overlay another car's stints on the same timeline
  • Live regulatory state — VSC / FCY / SC windows from the timing feed
  • Pit window predictor highlighting the optimal pit lap range
